ABOUT US

Josh Elston and Ed Nash form the Greencable Director team, leading the business from the front in daily operations and continued growth.

Serial entrepreneurs, Josh and Ed, come from a diverse working background of agriculture, engineering, construction, teaching, manufacturing, retail, marketing and commercial development. Chances are, if it's a job - they've probably done it at some point! So, why Greencable? Why Metal Recycling?

In recent years the demand for Copper has soared with more people than ever on the planet and therefore more electrical devices and applications requiring Copper for their manufacture. Mining for Copper is incredibly resource intensive as well destructive to the environment, with ~90% more CO2 being omitted to mine versus metal recycling. The great thing about Copper is that it can be infinitely recycled with no detriment to its physical properties.

From initially working exclusively with electricians, Greencable discovered that other trades generate renewable waste too - plenty of which doesn't get recycled. As a result, diversification was implemented in their service offering to cater for plumbers, heating engineers, manufacturers, colleges, training centres and many, many others through metal recycling.

Greencable's mission is to make recycling easier than ever before for busy trade professionals and commercial organisations alike.
