Part 1: Statement of Intent
Aim
Greencable recognises that our business has an important responsibility to protect and enhance the environment, particularly within the waste management, recycling, and construction industries. As a company operating at the centre of the circular economy, we understand the importance of reducing waste, recovering valuable materials responsibly, and minimising the environmental impact of both our own activities and those of the customers we support.
Founded in 2019 with a vision to build one of the UK’s leading scrap metal companies, Greencable’s mission is built around making the recycling and trading of metal simpler, more efficient, and more responsible through communication, innovation, and trust. We believe that improving environmental performance and modernising the recycling industry go hand in hand.
Greencable is committed to conducting its operations in an environmentally responsible manner, continually improving environmental performance, preventing pollution where reasonably practicable, and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental legislation, permits, and regulatory obligations.
We are committed to leading our sector in promoting sustainable recycling practices, supporting the circular economy, and encouraging responsible resource management throughout our operations.
